Hired a 6 birth van for 3 nights,
The inside tables, floors, chairs had a film of dirt. The beds had no linen other than fitted sheet. They dropped 3 doona's and 3 pillows on the outside table while I was out. Pity they didn't take them in to the beds they might of seen the top bunk beds and queen bed had a film of dead midgees/mossies all over them.. The glasses were dirty and the pots telflon coatings where severely scratched nicely flaking....unusable.
The outside table and chairs were totally covered in soot... Looking forward to a sleep-in
Woken at 6.30-45am to the sweet sound of a battery powered blower squeeling away at the toilet block next to the van. Went to use the toilet and shower at 7am it was being cleaned and you needed hazmat suit to negotiate the toxic strength bleach soaked floor and a helmet as the caution slippery floor sign wouldnt save you rushing for a morning pass. Why would you clean toilets at peak hour? My boys went to the rec room for a game of pool not pool cue in site..pretty disgracefully presented room as is the cleanliness of the site for the location.
On a good note lady at front desk was lovely and its pretty cheap.
From appearances the front section would have been better stay. We stayed in an on-site caravan with added annex. Won't be staying in an on-site caravan again. It was roomy but maintenance standards are not up to date and non drinkable tap water.
The staff were friendly and welcoming.
The showers were hot hot hot.
25 dollaridoos a night for a non powered.
It's nothing fancy but hey neither am I
Not a well managed park .Toilets were broken when we arrived and were still broken after eight days, locks on doors were broken shower head was also broken .Toilets were supposed to be cleaned early in the morning but were still dirty. People had dogs running loose around the park without leads on. My partner was attacked twice by different dogs and I was bailed up by 2 German Shepherds near the toilet block . Parents had no control over their children they were running wild all hours of the night. We made a complaint to the woman in the office and she acted as she didn't want to know about it.
Will never stay there again and will not recommend it. Something has to be done about the problems and management.
Stayed for two nights in a campervan. The powered sites are in between all of the permanent spots so not much room. Amenities were mostly clean but old. Price was fine but the Wifi was terrible.
Its certainly what you pay for. The beds are comfortable enough, but the lack of proper ladders on the bunks is rather reckless. The on-site caravan my friends and I stayed in only had running bore water, meaning any water we needed had to be sourced from the camp kitchen, a good 100 metre walk away, which isn't very handy come dinner time. The caravan itself was freezing, especially at night. But the park itself was nice. My friends and I, even if we are "adults" had a blast with the giant pillow and the park being right between Busselton and Dunsborough was very handy. Overall, it was okay.
Site was a bit tight, but for price was okay. The area we were in was very tired onsite vans and permanents need a bit of a tidy up. The other end was nice looking, but we did ask for a site where we could extend if needed. 10.30 quiet time …
Atmosphere here was great, especially New Years Eve. However, the amenities and staff were of a low quality
